Our Theory of
Change
We believe that girls and young women can only fully unleash their potential when they are educated, healthy, informed, and supported to shape their own future. In rural communities, many girls face barriers such as limited access to education, poor sexual and reproductive health information, harmful gender norms, stigma, menstrual health challenges, early pregnancy, HIV and STIs, and weak support systems that prevent them from thriving.
When girls and young women have access to education, comprehensive sexuality education, mentorship, leadership opportunities, and safe supportive environments, they gain the knowledge, self-awareness, confidence, and agency to make informed decisions about their bodies, their lives, and their future.
By creating agency, safe spaces, learning platforms, and supportive networks, girls and young women are better able to overcome barriers that interrupt their education and wellbeing and to build the resilience, dignity, and confidence needed to pursue opportunities and live healthy lives.
